February 20, 2016 - Jacksonville, FL

Edith managed to be up at 5:30 am, drove to Jacksonville Beach for sunrise photography.  It was foggy when Edith got to the beach, but it started to lift off long before the sunrise at 7:03 am.  Although she could not see the Milky Way because of too much lights from the street and condo buildings the camera picked it up.  The clouds started to appear above the ocean’s horizon and Edith was disappointed.  She managed to get some good shots before she headed back home.

We went shopping for a couple hours this morning.  Erwin wanted to see if there is a portfolio case that he can get to store his finished wood burned projects.  Staples had one, but he was not too sure and decided to check it out at Reddi Arts.  While at Staples Edith made some copies for her projects.  Then we headed to Reddi Arts, picked up what we needed.  The store did not have a good selection of portfolio cases.

We rested a bit in the afternoon before we went to Jacksonville Beach to meet a deaf couple for their engagement photo shoot.  Since it was Saturday and the day was gorgeous the parking lot on 2nd Ave S was full, so we followed the couple to 6th Avenue S where there is a larger parking area. There were plenty of available parking spots.

Shooting on the beach and on the boardwalk...

After the photo shoot we were invited to eat with the couple at La Nopalera off US 1 and Baymeadows.  It was already crowded when we checked in.  Edith got one chile releno, one taco and one burrito. Erwin went with Fajitas Steak Quesadillas.  The foods were great.  The place started to get very crowded and there were several people waiting in line for a table.

After we left the restaurant the fiancée asked me to take the SD card from her camera, so Edith can edit pictures and save them on the flash drive, which she can take to the store to order photo prints.
