June 16, 2014 (56th Day)

Keri's sister and her boys left for Yellowstone Park, WY. The house is quiet with the kids at day camp  The weather did not look like it was going to be a great day, but that did not stop Keri from making plans for us to go out.

After finishing errands we went downtown, stopped at The Black Sheep Leather shop where Erwin got his new leather belt. His old one has taken a beating after 40 years and was in a sorry state!

It started to feel a bit chilly and then it rained, but that did not stop us from strolling the streets downtown. To ward off the chills we stopped at a coffee shop to get hot drinks and cookies/buns.  Keri wanted to show us the store that she likes to browse in.
Edith wanted to get gifts for the kids, so Keri helped her with what to get for who. We hopped from one store to another to get this and that for each kid except for Sasha.

The rain continued and it was time for us to go back home.  Raining was intermittent until we arrived Three Forks. Keri suggested that we stopped at a flower/boutique store that may have something for Sasha.  We picked up two items and have them gift wrapped.

The kids were not back from camp yet, so the gifts were conspicuously laid out on the sofa table.  When the kids got back home their eyes lit up when they saw the wrapped gifts.  There was no name tag on each box/bag, so Edith asked each one which one they thought should be theirs.  After playing a quick game the kids were excited with their gifts.  Seeing their smiles really melted our hearts.  Good kids!

After supper Conner wanted to start playing the new board game we got him that is called Ticket to Ride.  So, we, along with Keri, played it all night.  It was a fun game.  It just happened that Conner won all the games.

Yawning!! Time for bed...
