Blue sky not one cloud in sight 63˚. We were up around 7 am.
Electronic shower first time see it, no knobs to turn water on or adjust temperature. Electronic eye/motion sensor or something like that! You step in and shower comes on at preset temperature (little more than luke warm) turns off after 5 minutes and you get out and step back in to restart! PITA!!

We left the campground at 8:15 am, got on Highway 2 East, then 33 South. Few barns along the route.
Stopped to visit Consecon town, nothing much to see except for this:
Emm's Restaurant and Kemp's Country Farm Market with colorful/interesting decorations. Good coffee too.
Several wineries in the area and we chose to stop at Sandbanks Winery for free samples. After sampling few wines we liked LOVE wine, bought two of them.

We wanted to see Salmon Point Lighthouse, but it was closed and off limits to visitors.

Arrived Kingston, ON at 2:35 pm. Too many road constructions going on in the town. Lots of detours. Too confusing for tourists :-( Go this way, go that way, turn back, ugh!
Found metered parking near information center by the marina. We meandered to the Parliament and went on self-guided tour. Kingston was chosen as the first capital in 1841until Queen Victoria decided to choose Ottawa as the capital of Ontario. John Counter (pic below) became the first mayor of Kingston after it was incorporated as a city in 1846.

Visited the marina for a bit. We wanted to explore more, but it was getting little late and we had not found a place for camping, so we left the town. Campgrounds were not within the town and we decided to dry camp at a Tim Horton's that had plenty of parking spaces.
Edith fixed delicious BBQ chicken smothered with honeysuckle BBQ sauce and sautéed yellow zucchini. Then we had marion blackberry shortcake for dessert.
Went out to take pics of sunset, but it did not turn out right for Edith ;-(
