May 18, 2018 - Goshen & Santaquin, UT

There were bicyclists racing down the road by us.  It was a perfect, beautiful morning for any activity, but we chose to stay "home" this morning to make calls to several campgrounds for our summer trip.

After lunch I went out for a drive by myself to visit the rural areas while Erwin went biking.  I chose to "get lost", saw some interesting sights along the way. There were lots of irises of different colors around the town. It was in Goshen, about 7 miles that I turned around and went back home.

We were in mood for pizza, decided to dine out at Main St Pizza on Main Street in Santaquin.  After waiting 25 minutes they brought our pizza to the table, but we discovered that there were no artichoke hearts.  We called the manager over and he said the hearts may be under the cheese.  No, they are not, I objected.  The manager apologized and ordered one of the guys to make it right.  So, we got two pizzas for the price of one.  What did we do with the second pizza?  We took it home, divided into pieces each of us would want to eat, put them in refrigerator.  One batch ended up in the freezer.
The sunset was lovely, and there were rain clouds nearby.  I was hoping for a cloudless night, so I can try and take pictures of the Milky Way.
