It was a very cloudy morning. Today's attraction was to ride on a 9 hour cruise of Prince Williams Sounds to see the Meares Glacier.
The bus shuttle came to pick up the caravan members and transported us to the boat harbor in Valdez.
The cruise has a large enclosed cabin area where spectators can stay warm. If you are hardy you can go out on the deck where it can get really cold.
Beverages, as well as lunch, were served. After leaving the Meares Glacier we were served chowder.
