Shirley and I did not see each other after graduation until the class reunion in 2005 at FSD, but saw each other briefly. At that time, I was under the weather and did not stay around to chat more with her and other classmates. That was it until today that we got together again.
While a student at BYU Shirley met her future husband, Richard when he was also a student there. After dating for 3 years they got married and raised 4 kids.
Erwin and I really enjoyed our visit with Shirley and Richard, and I was happy that we were able to spend quality time together to catch up on what we have missed since. May 24, 2018 will be 55 years since the graduation in 1963.

I certainly hope to visit Shirley and Richard again next time we are in the neighborhood.
On our way back to Genola the sky started to look threatening, and there were several rain columns all around. It did not rain on us until after we got back home.
We spent the evening walking among farm animals, then spent time with Phoebe and the family.
