It was a cool, sunny morning with lots of clouds. I failed to get out of the bed at 4 am to try and take pictures of the Milky Way.
We left Wilderness Ranch at 11 am, headed north on Highway 89. Road construction north past Scenic Byway 12 and we waited for 15 minutes before being escorted by the pilot truck.
Erwin decided to use Route 20 West toward I-15 Because he felt it would be safe and convenient in case our Lil’ Home (LH) started to misbehave. This morning we called ahead the RV service shop near Salt Lake City to see if they can take our LH in for service.
There were snow capped mountains in the distance as we were traveling north on I-15. The dark grey clouds started to look threatening.
It was already raining when we were about 30 miles south of Santaquin. The dark, grey clouds loomed over the mountains.
It had been a long time since we saw lightning while traveling!
We arrived Genola at 4:15 pm, pulled into Erwin's niece's property. Phoebe and her family, except her husband, were home. It was good to see them again.
The weather started to clear up some, leaving me with a nice view of the sunset.
