Another gloomy day, but not as windy as it was yesterday.
Edith felt a bit better than she was yesterday. She was all ready to head out for photography.
Before Edith went out, we spent the morning checking the map to decide what routes to take for our upcoming trip. We will camp at a state park Tuesday through Friday, then stay at a timeshare resort in Celebration, FL for one week.
We had been staying at our residence since Tuesday and the batteries in our Lil’ Home (LH) were getting low, so we ran the generator to juice up. We will need to have the propane tank filled up before we start the trip.
Edith went back to Hogan Pond to get more pictures of the beautiful Hooded Mergansers and ducks. This time the Mergansers swam much closer to the bank, making it easy for Edith to get close-up shots. Canadian Geese were “harassing” the Mergansers, but few of them were chasing away their own species. There was one geese that kept chasing other geese in defense of its own territory. It was fun watching them. Mallard ducks were minding their own business.

We are not sure what is in its mouth. It looked like an acorn, but it could be a snail in a shell |

We started prepping the LH by filling up the fresh water tank, putting everything away or securing them, stocking up foods in fridge and freezer.
Our Jeep hit a milestone this evening by registering 1 2 3 4 5 6 miles on the odometer. We bought it used back in April when it was 113,000 something on it. In just 8 months we have put on 10,000 miles. That's not counting the miles it was towed! The mileage doesn't add on when it is being towed! Whew! That is a lot of driving!
