There is a saying that “All good things must come to an end”. Well, it was time to get things together, bid fellow campers, Edna, Jack, Holly, Billy, Bon and Marilyn, good-bye. We had lots of fun with the group and hope to get together again another time. There are always games to play and stories to tell around the bonfire. Life is good!
As we were getting ready to leave, we noticed someone had tied all the balloons from the party to our Jeep!
Our next destination was Old Town, FL where our friends Gracie and Jerry live to park our Lil’ Home (LH) on their property.
We stopped for lunch at Chuy’s, one of our favorite restaurants in Gainesville, FL. Their parking lot is so small we decided to park in a bank parking lot next to Chuy’s (it was Sunday and the bank was closed). We decided to order one dish and split it because it was already past 1 pm. Gracie had already told us that we are to eat supper with them.
On Route 26, just outside of Gainesville Edith saw something so cute and told Erwin to stop and turn around to go back. It is a dentist’s office and it has creatures breaking through the building.
We arrived at Gracie and Jerry’s property and Gracie instructed us where to park our LH. After getting it set up we went inside the house and chatted our heads away.
Gracie and Edith have known each other from the time when they were about 7 years old when they were students at Florida Deaf School in St Augustine, FL.
After supper was served we spent the rest of the night catching up on news, watching a bit of TV.
