Edith treated him to a day at Silver Dollar City theme attraction. The weather was already hot when we left the resort.
The parking lot at Silver Dollar City was almost full at 9:45 am. Instead of waiting for the shuttle service we walked all the way from the parking lot to the entrance.
We were so lucky because the clouds took over making it less hot while we were walking around. We did not get on wild rides except for Giant Barn Swing that Edith dared to ride on. Before leaving the park we got on the train that went around the park. That was scary enough! :)

You cannot see Edith, but she is seated in the back
After leaving Silver Dollar City we went straight to Montana Mike's Steakhouse for dinner to celebrate Erwin's birthday. We did not go there because it says Montana.

After dinner we went out for a walk
Since we did not order desserts at Montana Mike's we wanted to get some ice cream before going back to the resort. We stopped at Cakes-n-Cream 50s Diner & Dessert Parlor. Step into the diner you will feel like you are taking a trip back in time to the fabulous 50's.
