While Edith was busy taking photos Erwin went out to get fuel for our Lil' Home (LH). We were not hungry for breakfast, so we hit the road. Left Visitor Center at 6:20 am.
We got back on 93 N to get on I-84 West for Boise, ID. First rest area stop was in Bliss, ID, so we can fix breakfast. Edith wanted to fry eggs, so she pulled out the middle drawer where the fry pans are in. She had a hard time pulling it out. It just would not budge and she called Erwin to come to see what the problem was. He tried to correct it, but did not succeed. It turned out that the bottom fell off from the drawer causing it to land on the bottom drawer. It took about 15 minutes before we were able to get things out. We had to move the stuff elsewhere. Glass butter dish was shattered into pieces. Edith just bought it at a Goodwill store in Bozeman, MT. Butter dish is on the shopping list the next time Edith goes shopping. The drawers will have to be modified to include stronger base support. That is our project to do when we get back home. :(
Edith finally got the breakfast cooked. Our stay at the rest area took longer than planned. We were little frustrated, but we know the problem can be corrected later.
After breakfast Edith went out with her camera to see if there was anything interesting to take pictures of. She kept seeing birds zipping by, so she walked to the picnic shelter. There were lots of barnswallow nests up on the rafter.
We continued our journey on I-84 going West. The drive was lovely. Edith googled to see which campground in Boise, ID to stay at. After reading reviews she decided on Boise Riverfront RV Park on N Glenwood Blvd.
We checked into Boise Riverfront Campground and got site #15 (pull-thru site), not far from the office. They have 215 sites and the layout is very nice. It is very close to shopping and there is the greenbelt for biking/walking right in front of the campground. It is right next to the Boise Hawks (semi-pro baseball) stadium and fairgrounds.
After getting our LH set up we drove to Eagle, ID to visit and spend the day with Erwin's sister Elaine. The last time we saw her was in September 2013. It was good to see her again.
Three of us drove to Camping World in Meridian to see if they have hot water valve that we need to replace in our LH.

On way back home Elaine suggested that we stopped at The Village at Meridian, a new town center that opened up over a year ago. It has the eclectic mix of nearly 100 shopping, dining, entertainment venues and office spaces. It is at the corner of E.
Fairview Ave and N. Eagle Road. They have the most interesting water fountain displays.
Since we did not have lunch we wanted to try Kona Grill, which is directly across from the water fountain display.
After lunch we continued walking around the center, checking out some stores and displays

Since there was plenty of time to kill before supper Elaine suggested that we go on State Street to see the state capitol.
On the way back, we stopped at our LH so Elaine could see it! She didn't say but I think she was impressed and envious! After spending sometime chatting, we returned to Elaine's place for supper. While Elaine was fixing stir-fry we chatted with Erwin's brother Olin, who lives in Maryland via videophone. After the chat supper was served. The rest of the evening found three of us chatting before we headed back to the campground for the night.
